This is very nearly the best Elvis box set of all time. It totally blows away the myth that Elvis died when he joined the Army. He didn't die..he grew as a singer and an artist who extended his musical range. What they've done is package all of Elvis studio recordings from the 60's into one set and it's rock solid songs serious heavyweight recordings that Elvis honed in the studio to perfection. You don't get Elvis gospel recordings his roots music or anything from his movies..not even a compilation disc featuring the songs that had credibilty and commercial success. This is not the complete story of Elvis in the 60's but it's might fine package of songs..and you cannot go wrong if you get this one.
