so many good songs and singers, and a great price, even the souned is superb, sometimes w these collections the production is not as important as the number of songs or artist, and im not one to much care anyway, i grew up w the old phonograph sound imbedded in me, but i must say, these disc have a very clean sound, but not to the point here it takes away from the original sound. i love proper compalations, i have the jimmie rodgers, carter family. they do all the greats from bob wills to pops, and the price is always nice. highly reccomend!!! worth the price for the charioteers alone.

This collection is extraordinary. I bought it because it includes "I'm bound for Canaan Land" by Silas Steele and the Famous Blue Jays, which I had in vinyl and consider to be among the greatest vocal performances on record. The rest of the collection is superb, including rare recordings by R.H. Harris as the original vocalist for the Soul Stirrers and so much else
