Tom Waits is a folk musician and storyteller steeped in blues, jazz and vaudeville. Without major mainstream success, Waits still gained a world-wide cult following, playing anywhere from dive bars to opera and concert halls. Waits believes a performance should be “a spectacle and entertaining”. With his devious sense of humor, his live shows have a touch of unpredictability. Tom Waits has won two Grammys and is in The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. His distinctive voice landed him on the 2010 list of Rolling Stone’s 100 Greatest Singers. Waits is also included on their 2015 list of 100 Greatest Songwriters of All Time.
