Janis Joplin (1943-1970) was one of the most popular blues rock musicians in the world. Alongside Jimmy Hendrix & Jim Morrison Janis was one of the central symbols of the hippie era & hippie culture. All three shaped a lifestyle that was later discribed as "Sex, Drugs & Rock & Roll) & "Live fast, Love hard, Die young". Due to her early death she has become influential like other musicians including Hendrix & Morrison in Club 27.
