• To help sales of both the album and the single, ‘My Father’s Eyes’, Clapton toured the United States and Europe
between March and December 1998 on his Pilgrim World Tour, followed by a Japanese leg in November 1999.
• During this Far East leg, Eric gave some of his finest performances of the entire jaunt. The 14-dates he played in Japan in
1999 included shows in Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka and Yokohama, and it was in the latter city that Eric Clapton and his band
put on his very finest concert of not just the Japan leg, but, very probably, of the entire Pilgrim World Tour.
• Recorded for live radio and T.V. transmission too, the Yokohama show on 24th November 1999 at the city’s Yokohama
Arena, was spectacular in every respect. Featuring a good selection of cuts from the new record, alongside a number of
Clapton classics and some choice covers too, the entire event is now included on this new 2CD set for the first time.
• Not for sale to GAS (Germany, Austria, Switzerland)
